has been around for thousands of years & has been used by many ancient cultures from all around the world.

Smudging is used for many different reasons - the main reason being to clear & cleanse your home & environment from any negative or lingering energies, refreshing the vibrations,  the ritual of Smudging helps set your intention for what energy you want to bring into your space. The burning of various herbs can also improve your mood, enhancing mental & psychic clarity.

The plants I have chosen are used for their sacred healing and cleansing properties, all herbs & flowers are sustainably sourced from our own garden here in NZ.

Sage: neutralises energy ~ master herb at purifying & cleansing the environment ~ reduces stress.

Thyme: renews energy ~ enhances psychic abilities ~ boosts courage & confidence ~ banishes bad energy.

Rosemary: aids healing ~ blesses your home ~ good to burn after someone has been sick ~ protection.

Lavender: adds a deeper sense of calm and peace to your space. Great for a stressful home, and as an aid before sleep. 

Wildflowers: energy healing ~ calming ~ aids intuition ~ Resilience & Fortitude.

Rose: reduces tension ~ brings in loving energy.

Sweet Grass: One of the most important Native American ceremonial plants, used by many tribes as an incense and purifying herb.Sweetgrass symbolises healing, peace, and spirituality in many Native cultures, braids of sweetgrass are sometimes left as offerings at resting places & sacred sites. 

*Please note wild flowers & roses are only picked once they are no longer any use to the bees & insects.

*White Californian Sage is sourced from a sustainable sage farm.

*Sweetgrass is sourced from an indigenous sustainable certified farm.
